For those who want to travel without the constraints of a motorhome (size, price, driving pleasure), there is an obviously less comfortable alternative, but more advantageous on certain points. The roof tent has become more popular in recent years, especially in the United States where it has become a real fashion on the most adventurous 4x4s. But it is no longer reserved for Nissan Patrol, Toyota Land Cruiser and other Mitsubishi Pajero.
