Belle Fountain Land Company paid more than $10 million for 3,500 acres along Interstate 10 and Baldwin County 87 in Robertsdale, according to Stacey Ryals of Ryals Realty, who represented the buyers. Tim Herrington of Herrington Realty worked for the sellers. The property features several miles of I-10 frontage east of Buc-ee’s. Belle Fountain already owns about 2,000 acres nearby, and that property and some of the 3,500 acres will be used for the new Grand River Motorsports Park which is under construction. The motorsports park is being built in phases with the obstacle areas, trails and beaches along the river and creeks to be open in October. The tube trip operation should open by next spring. The park will include more than 300 miles of trails once complete, including motorcycle trails, four-wheeler trails, side-by-side trails, jeep trails, kids tracks. The amenities will include bath houses, a restaurant, general store, music stage, tent camping and an RV park.

Polished Nails has leased 5,400 square feet of space in Monroe Square at 1838 S. Alabama Ave., in Monroeville, according to Andrew Dickman of Stirling Properties, who represented the landlord.

Solace Massage Therapy has leased 1,250 square feet of space at 10758 Baldwin County 64 in Daphne, and plans to open in October, according to Amanda Goldman and Angie McArthur of Stirling Properties, who handled the transaction.

Laguna Cove City Park on 53 acres bordering the southern part of Little Lagoon in Gulf Shores, has received site plan approval. The park will feature walking paths, boardwalks, a kayak launch and pavilion. The park is being funded by a $4.4 million NRDA (Natural Resource Damage Assessment) grant. The grant was acquired in 2019 for the acquisition and protection of natural resources and habitat conservation.

U-Haul Moving & Storage received  Daphne City Council approval to rezone 4.12 acres and build a three-story self storage unit with 700 indoor units just east of Whispering Pines Road and U.S. 98 in Daphne. The project is expected to be complete in 2024. A truck and trailer rental facility is also planned.
