Aldi is set to launch a massive camping sale this weekend with cut-price swags, sleeping bags and fishing gear offered as part of the special buys range.

The annual spring-time camping sale on August 28 is a highlight for shoppers who like the great outdoors and is expected to be even busier this year.

With lockdowns continuing and state and international borders closed families are looking to explore their own backyards this spring and summer.

Aldi is set to launch their annual camping sale with swags on offer for just $129

The camping sale will also include $20 canvas bags and $50 sleeping bags

A highlight of the special buys range is the camp swag which is crafted from high-quality canvas and includes a 5cm foam mattress.

The swag will set shoppers back $129 - a similar swag from camping brand Kings starts at $200 making the Aldi buy a steal.

The swag includes all of the poles and ropes needed to set the comfortable bed up and a one year warranty.

Customers are also excited about the $70 gazebo hub - which can act as a tent, attached to your gazebo or a creature-proof storage area.

The sale includes fishing rods and cast iron frying pans as well as larger camping supplies

The gazebo hub has an oversized front door and holes made for power cables.

Fishing enthusiasts are also expected to take advantage of the sale, with fishing rods being offered for $79.

The same fishing rods are on sale at Anaconda for $84.

Other fishing, camping and cooking accessories available include a $15 cast iron fry pan, and $19 canvas storage bags.

There's only a limited amount of stock available.
