This is really a good idea. However, after consulting the gate welder, he said the space we had was not enough to accommodate this 3 fold mechanism. Was really disappointed and went ahead with the traditional extension format.

I will let the pictures do the talking.

Parked my vehicle for testing. All good.

Front gap. Enough space to clean vehicle inside

Tyre stopper installation in progress.

Tyres stopper fully installed. Got 6-inch screw style bolts with them, the installer was not confident so we got 9-inch Bombay nails (yes you read it right, they are called Bombay nails for some reason here).

Inside view. Now the 2nd issue, the extended area is not covered. So we had to install a metal shed or awnings. Went ahead with awnings installation.

Awning installation completed. Painting in progress.

Front view after awning installation.

Top view after awning installation.

Final outside view after painting, awning installation and car parking.

The outcome I was waiting for a long time.

Was fully satisfied with the outcome. Is my vehicle fully protected from outside elements like rain and sun? No, but 85% better than parking on road.
