Are y’all ready to Make it With Maverick? Some Ford Maverick fans are. Like it or not, the 2022 Ford Maverick has its very own slogan. The new ‘Make it With Maverick’ slogan is already officially being used to promote the mighty little truck. 

Make it With Maverick is the trademarked slogan for the Ford Maverick, and it’s already listed on the Maverick’s official webpage. But how far will it go to promote the 2022 Ford Maverick? We can see it reaching commercials and print ads. 

The catchphrase was filed back on November 15, 2021, and has finally been accepted by the trademark office to go live. But the Maverick didn’t need it to explode. It has already sold out for the 2022 model year. 

Some fans aren’t impressed by the slogan and think that Ford should spend less time on marketing and more time manufacturing the truck. Others said it was cheesy, but we might see the slogan pasted on someone’s ride in giant letters soon. 

But what does make it refer to? Does it mean making it to your final location, thanks to the hybrid powertrain? Or does it refer to making the Maverick your own? 

You can think about the 2022 Ford Maverick in similar ways to the Jeep Wrangler because it’s extremely easy to customize as your own. There are already hundreds of Ford Maverick accessories out there.

If you can’t find the perfect Ford Maverick accessory, then make it yourself. Literally, you can use a 3D printer to craft your own items, thanks to the Ford Integrated Tether System (FITS).

The FITS slots have a specific shape that Ford shares with Maverick owners. Scan the QR code in the bed and use it with a 3D printer to make your cupholders, dog bowls, trash bins, and more.  

You can make it pretty far in the 2022 Ford Maverick. The standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is assisted by an electric motor to help the hybrid powertrain crank out 191 hp and 155 lb-ft of torque. 

The Maverick Hybrid gets an EPA-estimated 42 mpg in the city and up to 33 mpg on the highway. You can make it pretty far, but keep in mind that this powertrain can’t be equipped with AWD. 

With the gas-powered 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, you get 250 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, the Ford Maverick can tow up to 4,000 lbs. But it only has a ground clearance of 8.6 inches. 

The Maverick FX4 package adds a uniquely tuned suspension, skid plates, tow hooks, hill descent control, more off-roading modes, 17-inch wheels, and all-terrain tires. 

Time will tell if the Make it With Maverick slogan is a hit or miss. People probably love or hate it, but it’s not hurting sales.
